Possible Causes
Induction or radiant element magnetostriction, Relay operation on control board, Loose panel or trim vibrating, Failing transformer on control
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Turn off power before tightening panels.
- Identify source: Listen carefully to locate the noise. Some low-level humming from induction or radiant elements and relays is normal.
- Tighten panels: Check and tighten screws on back panels, side trims, and control panel to reduce vibration.
- Check fan mounts: Ensure cooling or convection fans are securely mounted and not contacting other parts.
- Service if abnormal: If the noise is loud, new, or accompanied by burning smell or malfunction, have a technician inspect the control board and transformers.
