JennAir range trips the circuit breaker when oven or a specific burner is turned on (no error code)

Safety: Leave the breaker off until the fault is identified. Risk of shock and fire.

• Identify circuit: Note whether the breaker trips when using the oven, a specific burner, or any function.
• Inspect elements: Check bake, broil, and surface elements for spots where the metal sheath touches the oven or cooktop frame. Replace any suspect element.
• Check wiring: Remove rear and bottom panels to inspect wiring harnesses for melted insulation or pinched wires. Repair or replace damaged sections.
• Terminal block: Inspect the main power terminal block for burned connections. Replace the block if damaged and correct any loose connections.
• Dry moisture: If the issue followed a spill, allow the unit to dry thoroughly before retesting.
