How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Shut off power at the breaker.
- Inspect broil element:
- Look at the top element for visible damage or breaks.
- Test element:
- Remove mounting screws and pull element forward.
- Disconnect wires and measure resistance (typically 10–30 Ω).
- Replace the broil element if open.
- Check wiring:
- Inspect connectors and wires for heat damage.
- Control board:
- If element and wiring are good but no power is supplied in broil mode, replace the electronic oven control (EOC).
