Open oven temperature sensor, Broken sensor wiring, Loose connector at control board, Corroded sensor plug
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power before servicing.
- Access and test sensor:
- Remove the oven temperature sensor from inside the cavity.
- Measure resistance at room temperature (~1050–1100 Ω).
- If open or far out of range, replace the oven temperature sensor.
- Check harness:
- Inspect wiring from sensor to control for breaks or burns.
- Reseat connectors at both ends.
- Repair or replace damaged harness sections.
- Control board:
- If sensor and wiring are good but F3 persists, the EOC sensor input may be defective.
- Replace the electronic oven control (EOC) if necessary.
