How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Turn off power at the breaker.

  • Dry out moisture:
    • If F7 appeared after cleaning or boiling, allow the control area to dry for several hours with power off.
  • Inspect keypad:
    • Remove the back cover behind the control panel.
    • Check the keypad ribbon cable for damage or corrosion.
    • Clean contacts with isopropyl alcohol and reseat.
  • Test keys:
    • With power restored, press each key to see if any are unresponsive or trigger F7.
  • Replace keypad or control:
    • If F7 persists and keypad is separate, replace the keypad / touchpad.
    • If keypad is integrated or replacing it does not help, replace the electronic oven control (EOC).
