How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power at the breaker.
- Dry out moisture:
- If F7 appeared after cleaning or boiling, allow the control area to dry for several hours with power off.
- Inspect keypad:
- Remove the back cover behind the control panel.
- Check the keypad ribbon cable for damage or corrosion.
- Clean contacts with isopropyl alcohol and reseat.
- Test keys:
- With power restored, press each key to see if any are unresponsive or trigger F7.
- Replace keypad or control:
- If F7 persists and keypad is separate, replace the keypad / touchpad.
- If keypad is integrated or replacing it does not help, replace the electronic oven control (EOC).
