Display shows PF, clock resets, oven or cooktop may stop mid-use

Safety first: If you suspect wiring issues, turn off power at the breaker before inspecting.

• Confirm household power:
  • Check if other appliances or lights lost power.
  • Reset the range breaker fully OFF then ON.
• Clear PF:
  • Press Cancel or Clear/Off to clear the code.
  • Reset the clock.
• Inspect power connections (if PF recurs frequently):
  • Turn off breaker and pull range out carefully.
  • Remove rear cover at the terminal block.
  • Check that the power cord lugs are tight and not burnt.
  • Tighten loose screws and replace any burnt terminal block or cord.
