Possible Causes

Incompatible cookware (non-magnetic), pan too small for zone, damaged induction coil sensor, faulty pan detection circuit on power module

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Induction cooktops operate at high voltage; do not open the glass or internal panels unless power is disconnected at the breaker.

  • Check cookware: Use a flat-bottomed, ferromagnetic pan (a magnet should stick firmly to the base). Ensure the pan diameter matches or exceeds the marked cooking zone.
  • Center the pan: Place the pan centrally on the zone and select a medium power level. If E0 persists only with certain pans, the issue is likely cookware-related.
  • Test other zones: Try the same pan on other induction zones. If only one zone shows E0, that zone's coil or sensor may be faulty.
  • Internal inspection (advanced): With power off and glass removed, inspect the affected zone's induction coil and sensor wiring for cracks, burns, or loose connectors.
  • Module replacement: If the coil is physically damaged or the detection circuit on the power module has failed, replace the induction power module for that zone.

Note: Slightly warped pans or those with sandwich bases may not be recognized reliably; test with a known-good cast iron or fully magnetic stainless pan.
