Possible Causes
User-activated control lock function, accidental long press on lock key, control board misinterpretation of key presses
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: No internal work is required for this condition; do not open the appliance.
- Unlock sequence: On most Kuppersbusch models, press and hold the key symbol or lock button for 3–5 seconds until the LOC indicator disappears. On some ovens, holding the Stop/Reset or a combination of + and - keys may be required; refer to the user manual.
- Power reset: If the lock will not clear, turn off power at the breaker for 1 minute, then restore and try the unlock sequence again.
- Check for stuck keys: If the lock symbol flickers or keys do not respond, inspect the touch panel for damage or heavy contamination and clean gently.
Note: If the control remains locked despite correct procedure, the touch panel or control board may be faulty and require service.
