How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Allow the oven to cool before disassembling the door or accessing the fan.

Cooling fan check: During operation, listen for the cooling fan. If it is silent or very weak, inspect and replace the cooling fan motor if necessary.
Door glass inspection: Check that all glass panes are present and intact. If an inner pane is cracked or missing, replace the door glass assembly.
Vent cleaning: Clean any grease or debris from the air vents above and below the door.
Door disassembly: Carefully disassemble the door (following the service manual) to inspect internal insulation. Replace any damaged or missing insulation pads.

Note: Some heating of the outer glass is normal, but it should not be dangerously hot. Compare with manufacturer specifications if available.

Oven door glass becomes excessively hot to touch during normal baking.
