Possible Causes
Failed or weak cooling fan, missing or damaged inner glass pane, deteriorated door insulation, blocked cooling air vents
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Allow the oven to cool before disassembling the door or accessing the fan.
- Cooling fan check: During operation, listen for the cooling fan. If it is silent or very weak, inspect and replace the cooling fan motor if necessary.
- Door glass inspection: Check that all glass panes are present and intact. If an inner pane is cracked or missing, replace the door glass assembly.
- Vent cleaning: Clean any grease or debris from the air vents above and below the door.
- Door disassembly: Carefully disassemble the door (following the service manual) to inspect internal insulation. Replace any damaged or missing insulation pads.
Note: Some heating of the outer glass is normal, but it should not be dangerously hot. Compare with manufacturer specifications if available.
