Induction or electronic cooktop zone displays E0 and will not heat

Safety first: Ensure the cooktop surface is cool before changing cookware.

• Use correct cookware: For induction zones, use ferromagnetic pans (cast iron, many stainless steels). Check with a magnet; it should stick firmly to the base.
• Match pan size: Use a pan that fully covers the marked cooking zone. Very small pans may not be detected.
• Flat bottom: Avoid heavily warped or rounded pans. Try a different flat‑bottomed pan to see if E0 clears.
• Clean glass surface: Wipe the zone with a soft cloth to remove spills that may interfere with detection.
• Module check: If E0 appears with multiple known‑good pans, the induction module's pan detection circuit may be faulty and require replacement by a technician.
