Oven light does not work, but oven heats normally

Safety first: Turn off power at the breaker and allow the oven to cool before replacing the bulb.

• Replace bulb: Remove the glass lens cover inside the oven (usually twists off). Replace the bulb with the correct high‑temperature oven lamp specified by La Cornue.
• Inspect socket: If the new bulb does not light, inspect the socket for corrosion or heat damage. Replace the socket assembly if necessary.
• Check switch/control: Verify that the oven light switch on the control panel operates correctly. If the light never comes on and the socket is good, the control relay or wiring may be faulty and require service.
