Possible Causes
Incompatible cookware, faulty pan detection sensor on coil, misaligned induction coil, defective touch control PCB
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
User-level checks:
- Verify that the pan is magnetic (a fridge magnet should stick firmly to the base).
- Use a flat-bottomed pan that matches the size of the zone.
- Clean the hob glass and ensure there is no liquid or foil between the pan and glass.
- Try another zone with the same pan to see if the issue is zone-specific.
If E07 persists on one zone only:
- Isolate power and remove the hob glass.
- Check that the induction coil is firmly fixed and centered under the marked zone. Re-secure any loose mounting brackets.
- Inspect the small pan detection sensor wiring (if separate) from the coil to the power board for damage.
- If wiring and coil position are correct, the induction power module or touch control PCB may be faulty and require replacement.
Warning: Internal hob repairs involve live mains and high-frequency circuits; if unsure, contact a professional.
