How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Switch off the cooker circuit at the consumer unit before opening any covers.
Check the electrical supply:
- Confirm that the hob is wired according to the Leisure wiring diagram (usually on a label under the hob or in the manual). Ensure correct bridging links are in place for single-phase installations.
- Inspect the terminal block at the rear or underside of the cooker for loose screws, heat damage, or melted insulation. Tighten any loose connections and replace damaged parts.
- Use a multimeter (by a qualified person) to verify that the supply voltage is within the specified range (typically 220–240 V AC).
- If wiring and supply are correct, access the induction power board and check for any onboard fuses. Replace only with the same rating if blown, and investigate why it failed.
Warning: Incorrect wiring can be dangerous and may void warranty. If you are not experienced with electrical work, use a licensed electrician.
