Possible Causes
Internal failure of timer PCB, corrupted timer settings after power surge, damaged ribbon cable between timer and main PCB, stuck relay on timer board
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Basic reset:
- Turn off power to the cooker at the wall isolator for at least 5 minutes, then restore power.
- Set the time of day on the clock/timer. Many Leisure ovens will not operate until the time is correctly set.
- Cancel any active automatic cooking programs and return the timer to manual mode.
If E11 persists:
- Isolate power and remove the control panel fascia to access the timer/clock PCB.
- Inspect the PCB for burnt components, bulging capacitors, or cracked solder joints, especially around the relay and power input.
- Check the ribbon cable or wiring harness between the timer and the main control PCB for secure connections.
- If visible damage is present or the timer does not respond after reset, replace the timer/clock module with the correct Leisure part.
Tip: Take a photo of all wiring before disconnecting the old timer to ensure correct reconnection.
