Leisure range shows E16 and the oven light and fan work but there is no heat.

Safety first: Disconnect the cooker from mains power before removing the control panel.

Check the selector switch:

• Remove the control knobs and unscrew the front control panel to access the selector switch.
• Inspect the function selector switch for signs of overheating, melted plastic, or loose terminals.
• Operate the switch by hand and feel for rough or inconsistent detents, which can indicate internal damage.
• Using a multimeter, test continuity across the appropriate contacts in each oven function position (refer to wiring diagram if available).
• If contacts are not closing correctly or the switch is physically damaged, replace the oven function selector switch with the correct Leisure part.

Tip: Label or photograph all wires before removal to ensure correct reconnection.
