Safety note: Oven doors can get warm, but should not be dangerously hot. Keep children away until resolved.

Checks:

Verify that the cooling fan runs when the oven is on (you should hear airflow at the top/front). If not, see cooling fan fault guidance.
Check that the door closes fully and compresses the seal evenly; replace hinges or seal if needed.
Inspect the door glass assembly and inner seals for gaps or damage; replace the glass pack or seals if compromised.
On some models, additional insulation panels around the door may be present; ensure they are intact and correctly positioned.

Leisure range oven door gets excessively hot to touch on the outside during normal cooking.
