Leisure range oven interior light stays on all the time, even when the door is closed and oven is off.

Safety first: Turn off power before accessing switches or PCB.

Checks:

• Locate the door switch (usually in the door frame). Press it by hand; the light should go off when pressed.
• If the light stays on, test the switch with a multimeter for correct open/closed operation. Replace if faulty.
• Ensure the door is not bent and is correctly aligned to press the switch fully when closed.
• If the switch is working but the light remains on, the lamp relay on the control PCB may be stuck; the PCB will likely need replacement.
