Possible Causes
Open sensor circuit, Broken sensor lead, Loose connector at control, Damaged harness
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power at the breaker.
- Inspect sensor connection: Access the sensor connector and ensure it is fully seated. Reseat it firmly.
- Test sensor continuity: Disconnect the sensor and measure resistance. An open reading (OL) indicates a broken sensor; replace it.
- Check harness continuity: If the sensor is good, test continuity from the sensor connector to the control board connector. Repair or replace any open wires.
- Control board: If wiring and sensor are good but F23 persists, replace the main control board.
