LG electric range trips the circuit breaker when oven or burners are turned on.

Safety first: Turn off the breaker and do not reset repeatedly. Risk of fire or shock.

• Inspect cord and terminal block: With power off, remove the rear cover and check for burnt wires or melted plastic at the terminal block. Repair or replace as needed.
• Check elements: Disconnect each element and test for continuity to chassis ground. Any element shorted to ground must be replaced.
• Moisture: If the issue started after cleaning or a spill, allow the range to dry thoroughly for 24 hours with doors open.
• Control board: If no obvious shorts are found, the control board or wiring harness may be shorted and require professional diagnosis and replacement.
