Possible Causes
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power at the breaker before removing any panels.
Steps:
- Power cycle: Turn the breaker OFF for 5–10 minutes, then back ON. If F0 clears and does not return, it may have been a transient glitch.
- Inspect keypad connection: Remove the backguard cover and reseat the keypad ribbon cable at the EOC. Check for corrosion or damage.
- Check for moisture: Look for signs of moisture or cleaner residue on the control board and keypad. Allow to dry thoroughly if present.
- Replace components: If F0 persists, replace the keypad/touch panel first if it is a separate part. If the keypad is integrated or replacement does not help, replace the EOC.
Tip: Use a surge protector on the range circuit only if it is rated for the appliance load and permitted by local code; otherwise, ensure the home electrical system is properly grounded.
