Shorted keypad membrane, Stuck button due to spill or debris, Damaged keypad ribbon cable, Faulty EOC keypad interface
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power before removing the control panel.
Steps:
- Clean keypad: If a spill occurred, gently clean around the buttons with a slightly damp cloth (power off). Allow to dry fully.
- Inspect ribbon: Remove the backguard cover and reseat the keypad ribbon cable. Look for corrosion or physical damage.
- Isolate fault: Disconnect the keypad from the EOC and restore power. If F11 stops, replace the keypad. If it continues, replace the EOC.
