How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power before removing panels.
Steps:
- Power reset: Turn the breaker OFF for 5 minutes, then ON. Test oven operation.
- Sensor test: Verify oven sensor resistance at room temperature (~1050–1100 Ω). Replace if out of spec.
- Recalibrate: Some Magic Chef models allow temperature calibration via the user menu (e.g., adjust +/− 35°F). Follow the user manual to recalibrate.
- Replace EOC: If F13 persists, replace the EOC.
Note: Always verify actual oven temperature with an oven thermometer after repairs.
