Oven light does not work even after replacing the bulb.

Possible Causes
Blown oven light socket, Failed oven light switch or door switch, Broken wiring to light assembly, Faulty EOC light relay (on electronic models)
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power before working on the light socket or wiring.
Steps:
- Verify bulb: Ensure you are using the correct high-temperature appliance bulb and that it is screwed in firmly.
- Inspect socket: Check the socket for corrosion, burns, or loose contacts. Replace the socket if damaged.
- Door switch: On models with a door-activated light, test the door switch for continuity when pressed. Replace if faulty.
- Control relay: On electronic Magic Chef ranges, if the light is controlled by a keypad, the EOC relay may have failed. Replace the EOC if the relay does not energize with a known-good bulb and wiring.
Tip: Avoid touching the new bulb glass with bare fingers; oils can shorten its life.
