How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power at the breaker.
- Dry the surface: Wipe the cooktop thoroughly. If a spill occurred, allow time for moisture under the glass to evaporate.
- Power reset: After at least 30 minutes of cool-down and drying, restore power and test.
- Inspect underside (advanced): Remove the cooktop from the counter and inspect for moisture or burned components on the sensor harness and control board.
- Replace faulty module: If damage is visible or E2 persists, the sensor or control module will need replacement.
