Possible Causes
Weak or failing oven temperature sensor, Loose sensor connection, Failing EOC temperature circuit
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power before accessing internal components.
- Check sensor resistance: Remove the oven sensor and measure resistance at room temperature (~1050–1100 Ω). If significantly higher than spec, replace the sensor.
- Check harness and connector: Inspect the sensor connector at both the sensor and the EOC for corrosion or looseness. Clean and reseat.
- Verify actual temperature: Use an oven thermometer to compare displayed temperature to actual. If the oven is consistently low by a similar amount, use the control’s calibration feature to adjust. If the difference is large or erratic, suspect sensor or EOC.
- Replace EOC if needed: If a new sensor does not resolve F2-2, replace the EOC.
