How to Fix / Troubleshooting

This code is functionally similar to F1-3/F3-1 on some Maytag models.

Safety first: Disconnect power before testing.

  • Test sensor: Remove and measure resistance of the oven sensor at room temperature. Replace if open or out of spec (~1050–1100 Ω).
  • Inspect wiring: Check the harness and connectors between the sensor and control board. Repair any damage and reseat connectors.
  • Replace control if needed: If sensor and wiring are good, replace the EOC.
