Control panel displays LOC or a lock icon and buttons do not respond

Safety first: Ensure all burners and oven functions are off.

• Unlock controls: Press and hold the designated control lock key (often "Control Lock", "Hold 3 Sec", or a padlock icon) for 3–5 seconds until LOC disappears.
• Clean keypad: Wipe the control panel with a soft, slightly damp cloth and dry thoroughly to remove any residue causing false keypresses.
• Power reset: If LOC will not clear, turn off power at the breaker for 5 minutes, then restore power and try again.
• Check for stuck key: If the lock key feels stuck or unresponsive, the touchpad may need replacement.
