How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Confirm all burners and oven elements are off before changing settings.
- Disable lock: Press and hold the Lock or Key symbol for 3–5 seconds until LOC disappears.
- Alternate method: On some Midea ranges, press and hold Start or Clock for several seconds to toggle the lock.
- Power reset: If the lock will not clear, turn off the breaker for 2–3 minutes, then restore power and try again.
If the display remains locked and unresponsive, the user interface board may be faulty and require replacement.
