Possible Causes
Household power outage or brownout, Loose power cord or terminal block connection, Tripped breaker or GFCI, Voltage fluctuation on supply line
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: If you suspect wiring issues, turn off the breaker before inspecting connections.
- Confirm household power: Check other appliances and lights to verify if there was a power outage. Reset the range clock and settings as needed.
- Inspect power connection: For hardwired or cord-connected ranges, verify the power cord is firmly connected and the terminal block screws are tight (power off first).
- Check breaker: Ensure the range breaker is fully in the ON position. Reset if tripped.
- Monitor frequency: If PF appears frequently without known outages, have an electrician check the supply voltage and connections to the range.
