Possible Causes
Burned-out oven light bulb, Faulty oven door switch, Failed light relay on control board, Corroded or loose light socket contacts
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power or unplug the range before replacing the bulb or working near the socket.
- Replace bulb: Remove the glass light cover (often with a quarter-turn) and replace the bulb with the correct type and wattage specified by Monogram.
- Test door switch: Press the door switch manually and see if the light toggles. If not, test the switch for continuity and replace if faulty.
- Inspect socket: Check for corrosion or burned contacts in the light socket. Clean or replace the socket as needed.
- Control board: If the bulb, switch, and socket are good, the light relay on the electronic oven control board may have failed and require replacement.
