- Listen for relays: When a cooking function is selected (with power on), you should normally hear a click from the control board. If F8 appears immediately and no click is heard, the relay drive circuit may have failed.
- Visual inspection (power off): Remove the control panel and inspect the electronic clock/programmer PCB for burnt areas, cracked solder joints around relays, or bulging capacitors.
- No user‑serviceable parts: New World does not generally supply individual relays; the complete clock/programmer or power module is replaced as a unit.
