Possible Causes
Recent power outage or brownout, Loose power cord connection, Tripped breaker or shared circuit issues, Faulty outlet supplying the Premier range
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety First: If you suspect wiring or outlet damage, turn off the breaker and do not use the range until inspected.
Step-by-step:
- Confirm power event: If lights or other appliances also reset, PF is normal. Clear the code by pressing Cancel and resetting the clock.
- Check cord and outlet: Pull the range out slightly and verify the power cord is fully seated in the outlet (for plug-in models) and that the cord is not damaged.
- Inspect breaker: Ensure the range breaker is fully in the ON position and not partially tripped. Reset if necessary.
- Monitor frequency: If PF appears frequently without known outages, have an electrician test the outlet voltage and connections. Loose neutral or hot connections can cause intermittent power loss.
