Oven display shows Err or ERROR and beeps when setting the clock or a program.

Safety: This is usually a control issue; no high-voltage work is required unless replacing boards.

Steps to check:

• Clear program: Press Cancel or Stop and try setting the time again following the manual.
• Check for stuck buttons: Press each button in turn and ensure it moves freely. On touch panels, clean the glass with a soft, dry cloth to remove moisture or grease.
• Power reset: Turn off power for 5 minutes, then restore and reprogram the clock.
• If Err appears without pressing keys: The timer or user interface PCB may have a stuck key or internal fault. Replacement of the clock/timer module or touch PCB may be required.
