Possible Causes

Incorrect line voltage to range, Loose power cord connections at terminal block, Damaged power cord, Internal control power supply fault

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Turn off the breaker and verify power is off before opening the rear terminal block cover. High voltage can cause serious injury.

  • Check supply voltage: With a qualified person and a multimeter, verify 240 V across L1 and L2 and 120 V from each leg to neutral at the terminal block.
  • Inspect terminal block: Look for burnt or loose connections where the power cord attaches. Tighten screws and replace any burnt terminals or the terminal block if damaged.
  • Inspect power cord: Replace the range power cord if insulation is damaged or conductors are burnt.
  • Control board: If supply is correct and connections are solid, the internal power supply on the control board may be faulty. Replace the electronic oven control board.
