Electronic control beeps continuously, display shows F1 and oven functions are disabled or shut off shortly after starting.

Safety first: Disconnect power at the breaker before removing any panels. High voltage is present even when the oven is off.

• Power reset: Turn the range breaker OFF for 5 minutes, then back ON. If F1 returns immediately, the fault is likely in the keypad or control board.
• Inspect control panel: Remove the rear control panel cover. Check the flat ribbon cable from the touchpad to the electronic oven control (EOC) for corrosion, burns, or loose seating. Reseat the connector firmly.
• Check for moisture/grease: If the keypad area is greasy or has liquid intrusion, gently clean the surface and allow it to dry completely. Do not spray cleaner directly into the control area.
• Isolate keypad vs. board: If possible, disconnect the keypad ribbon from the EOC, restore power, and see if F1 reappears. If F1 appears with keypad disconnected, the EOC is likely bad. If F1 only appears with keypad connected, the keypad is likely shorted.
• Replace failed part: Replace the control panel/touchpad assembly or the electronic oven control board as indicated. Transfer wires one at a time to the new board to avoid miswiring.
