Possible Causes

Failed relay on electronic oven control, Internal control board fault, Power surge damage, Poor neutral or line connection to control

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Disconnect power at the breaker. Capacitors on the control board can hold charge; avoid touching bare solder joints.

  • Power reset: Turn off the breaker for 5–10 minutes, then restore power. If F5 returns immediately, the control board is likely defective.
  • Inspect wiring: Remove the rear control panel cover and check all connectors to the electronic oven control for tight fit and signs of overheating or discoloration. Tighten any loose spade terminals.
  • Check supply voltage: With a qualified person and proper meter, verify correct 240 V supply to the range and 120 V to the control. Low or unstable voltage can damage the board.
  • Replace control: If wiring and supply are correct and F5 persists, replace the electronic oven control board.
