Possible Causes
Burned-out oven bulb, Faulty lamp holder, Failed door switch, Faulty control board lamp output
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power before replacing the bulb or lamp holder.
Steps:
- Replace bulb: Remove the glass lens cover inside the oven and replace the bulb with a high-temperature oven-rated bulb of the correct wattage.
- Check lamp holder: Inspect the lamp holder for heat damage or corrosion. Replace if contacts are burnt.
- Door switch: Test the door switch for continuity when the door is opened/closed. Replace if faulty.
- Control output: If the bulb and holder are good but no power is supplied, the control board may have a failed lamp relay and require replacement.
Warning: Use only oven-rated bulbs; standard bulbs may shatter.
