Possible Causes
Shorted keypad membrane, Contaminated keypad contacts from cleaning fluids, Damaged keypad ribbon cable
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power before opening the control panel.
Steps to check:
- Dry and clean: If the error followed cleaning, allow the control area to dry thoroughly. Do not spray cleaners directly on the panel.
- Inspect keypad: Remove the backguard panel and inspect the keypad ribbon for damage. Reseat the ribbon connector on the EOC.
- Isolate keypad: With power off, disconnect the keypad ribbon from the EOC. Restore power briefly. If F11 disappears, the keypad is faulty. If F11 remains, the EOC is likely bad.
- Replace faulty part: Replace the keypad/touch membrane or the entire control panel assembly as required for your Stoves model. If the EOC is at fault, replace it.
