Steps to check:
- Verify with thermometer: Place an oven-safe thermometer in the center of the oven and run at 350°F for at least 20–30 minutes. Compare average reading to set temperature.
- Adjust calibration: Many Stoves EOCs allow temperature offset adjustment in the settings menu (e.g., +/- 35°F). Refer to your user manual and adjust as needed.
- Inspect door gasket: Check the oven door gasket for gaps, tears, or flattening. Replace if damaged to prevent heat loss.
- Sensor check: If calibration cannot correct a large error, test the oven sensor resistance at room temperature and replace if out of spec.
