Possible Causes
Open bake heating element, Burnt wire at element terminal, Faulty bake relay on control board
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power before touching any wiring.
Steps:
- Visually inspect the lower bake element for breaks or burn marks.
- Remove the mounting screws and gently pull the element forward to inspect the terminals and wiring.
- Test the element for continuity; replace if open.
- If the element is good, check for burnt wires and repair as needed. Persistent no-bake with good wiring suggests a bad bake relay on the EOC.
