Possible Causes

Misconfigured electronic control board (EOC), Loose wiring harness to user interface, Power surge corrupting control memory

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Disconnect the Tecnogas range from power at the wall outlet or switch off the circuit breaker before removing any panels.

Steps to try:

  • Power reset: Turn off the breaker for 5 minutes, then restore power. Try selecting a basic bake function. If E0 clears, monitor for recurrence.
  • Check control panel lock: Some Tecnogas models have a child lock or key lock. Verify that the lock icon is not active and try unlocking per the user manual.
  • Inspect wiring to the control board: Remove the rear control panel cover. Check the multi-pin connectors going to the electronic oven control (EOC) and the touch panel. Reseat each connector firmly; look for burnt pins or corrosion.
  • Check for moisture or spills: If the error appeared after a boil-over or cleaning, inspect the back of the control panel for moisture. Allow the unit to dry completely (at least several hours) before reapplying power.

If the error persists after a power reset and wiring inspection, the EOC may be corrupted and should be replaced by a qualified technician.
