Tecnogas oven displays E7 and the door lock symbol flashes; self-clean will not start or the door remains locked.

Safety first: Disconnect power. Do not force the door open with tools; this can damage the frame and glass.

Steps:

• Manual release (if equipped): Some Tecnogas models have a manual door lock release accessible from the top or rear. Consult the service manual or look for a small lever near the lock mechanism.
• Access lock assembly: Remove the top panel or rear panel to reach the door lock motor and latch.
• Inspect linkage: Check that the latch moves freely and is not bent or obstructed.
• Test lock motor and switch: Use a multimeter to check continuity of the lock motor coil and the lock position switch. Replace the assembly if open or mechanically jammed.

If the lock assembly is good but E7 persists, the control board’s lock driver circuit may be defective.
