Possible Causes
Clogged burner ports, Misaligned burner cap, Weak or cracked spark electrode, Low gas flow to that burner
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off the burner knob and ensure no gas smell is present before working on the burner.
Steps:
- Remove the burner cap and head. Clean all ports with a soft brush or a wooden toothpick; do not use metal that can enlarge the holes.
- Ensure the cap is properly centered on the burner base when reassembled.
- Check the spark electrode position; it should be close to the burner edge without touching. Replace if the ceramic is cracked.
- Compare flame on other burners; if all are weak, gas supply or regulator may be an issue.
