Safety first: Turn off the burner knob and ensure no gas smell is present before working on the burner.

Steps:

• Remove the burner cap and head. Clean all ports with a soft brush or a wooden toothpick; do not use metal that can enlarge the holes.
• Ensure the cap is properly centered on the burner base when reassembled.
• Check the spark electrode position; it should be close to the burner edge without touching. Replace if the ceramic is cracked.
• Compare flame on other burners; if all are weak, gas supply or regulator may be an issue.
