Possible Causes

Loose or broken spark wire to electrode, Failed spark electrode, Faulty burner switch for that valve, Defective output on spark module

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Disconnect power and close gas supply.

Steps:

  • Remove the burner cap and head to expose the electrode.
  • Inspect the electrode wire connection; ensure it is firmly attached and not burnt.
  • Check the electrode ceramic for cracks; replace if damaged.
  • Access the underside of the cooktop and verify the wire from the spark module to that electrode is intact.

If wiring and electrode are good but no spark occurs, the spark module output for that channel may be defective.
