Cookware Detection / Incompatible Pan Error
Induction cooktop or range top zone will not heat and displays E1 shortly after turning on.

Possible Causes
Non-magnetic cookware, Cookware base too small for zone, Warped or uneven pan bottom, Faulty pan detection sensor on induction module
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Induction surfaces remain hot from residual heat. Allow to cool before touching the glass.
- Verify cookware type: Use a magnet on the bottom of the pan. If it does not stick firmly, the pan is not suitable for induction and will trigger E1.
- Check pan size: Ensure the pan fully covers the inner ring of the cooking zone. Very small pans may not be detected.
- Use flat-bottom pans: Warped or rounded bases can cause intermittent detection. Try a different, flat-bottomed pan.
- Clean the glass: Wipe the zone with a soft cloth to remove grease or residue that may interfere with detection.
- Power reset: Turn the unit off at the breaker for 2 minutes, then retry with known-good induction cookware.
If E1 appears with multiple known-good pans on the same zone, the induction module's pan detection circuit may be faulty and require replacement.
