How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Turn off power at the breaker before removing the control panel.

  • Power reset: Turn off power for 5 minutes, then restore and test.
  • Reseat ribbon cable: Remove the control panel and carefully disconnect and reconnect the keypad ribbon cable to the control board. Ensure it is fully inserted and locked.
  • Inspect for corrosion: Look for discoloration or corrosion on the ribbon contacts. Clean gently with a soft eraser if needed.

If F7 persists after reseating the cable, replace the keypad/touch panel. If a new keypad does not resolve the issue, the electronic oven control board is likely defective.
