Possible Causes
Loose touch control harness, Failed user interface board, Faulty main power board, Static discharge or power surge
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off the cooktop/range at the breaker before removing any glass or control panels.
- Reset power: Leave power off for 5–10 minutes, then restore. If E0 clears and does not return, it may have been a transient glitch.
- Inspect control connections: On induction or electric cooktops, remove the glass top to access the touch control PCB and main power board. Check the ribbon cables and harnesses for secure fit.
- Check for damage: Look for burn marks, cracked boards, or corrosion on the user interface and main board. Replace any visibly damaged boards.
- Replace interface: If wiring is intact but E0 persists, replace the touch control/user interface board. If still unresolved, the main power board may also require replacement.
