Possible Causes
Burned-out convection fan motor, Obstructed fan blade, Failed convection relay on EOC, Broken fan wiring
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power and allow the oven to cool before removing the rear panel or fan cover.
- Listen for fan: Start a convection bake cycle and listen for fan operation. If silent, proceed with inspection.
- Inspect fan blade: Remove the interior fan cover and check for obstructions or baked-on debris preventing rotation.
- Test motor: Access the convection motor from the rear, disconnect it, and test for continuity. Replace the convection fan motor if open or seized.
- Check wiring and relay: Verify wiring from the EOC to the motor is intact. If the motor is good but never receives power, the EOC convection relay may be faulty and the board should be replaced.
