Possible Causes
Failed EOC fan relay, Shorted temperature sensor, Stuck fan switch, Wiring short
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power at the breaker before accessing internal components.
- Allow full cool-down: Confirm the oven cavity is completely cool; some fans run for a period after use.
- Test sensor: Check the oven temperature sensor resistance at room temperature. Replace if out of specification.
- Inspect wiring: Look for shorts between the fan motor lead and line voltage.
- Replace control board: If the fan receives power continuously even when the oven is off and the sensor is good, the EOC fan relay is likely stuck closed. Replace the electronic oven control board.
