Possible Causes
Failed EOC relay, Open thermal fuse or high-limit thermostat, Loose wiring at terminal block, Door switch not recognized (on some models)
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power at the breaker before testing continuity or removing panels.
- Check for self-clean lock: Ensure the oven is not in a locked or self-clean mode that prevents heating.
- Inspect thermal devices: Locate any inline thermal fuse or high-limit thermostat on the rear of the oven cavity. Test for continuity; replace any open thermal fuse or high-limit thermostat.
- Terminal block: Verify that all three power connections (L1, L2, N) are tight and not burned.
- Control output: If comfortable with live testing, check for 240 VAC at the bake element terminals when a bake cycle is commanded. If no voltage and safeties are good, replace the electronic oven control board.
